Rioja Restaurants and Bars

Rioja commercial centre is a short drive or about a 15 minute walk from Villamartin plaza. There's a short cut if you take a pleasant walk along the canal bank. There are a number of shops including Studio Hispania (lighting and home decorations, garden furniture). There are two banks (Banco de Valencia and Deutsche Bank), a beauty and nail centre and a suntan centre. Although the commercial centre has been established for some years, there is still room for growth. There are still a fair number of empty units awaiting occupancy.

Chinese with a good local reputation for good food at a reasonable price.

The Belfry

Cafeteria/bar with a pool table. Good selection of fresh salads al at 4€.

Restaurante Namoco

Spanish style restaurant. Good pork dishes, whole shoulder of lamb (excellent!), fish and steaks.

Open from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m daily. Closed on Sunday.

Live music on Friday and Saturday from Isaac ( good ) on acoustic guitar.

Live events, country music on Friday nights. All major sports shown live. Outside Pool table. Golf arranged for groups or individuals. Monthly golf society outings. Open daily from 12 noon with Happy hour from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Ken and Doreen will give you a warm welcome here. Open Monday to Friday 10:30 a.m. until late and Saturdays and Sundays 18:30 until late.

A variety of food served Monday to Saturday from 18:30 to 22:30.
