If you want to do something a little more active than simply relaxing on the beach then there is a wide selection of pastimes and activities for you and your family to enjoy locally.

You can enjoy shore, freshwater and fly fishing trips, and for the more adventurous you can try paragliding and windsurfing at Santa Pola just south of Alicante.

If you want to enjoy the area and countryside at a more leisurely pace then you always hire a bicycle and get some healthy exercise at the same time.

On the beach at Campoamor (Aguamarina end of the beach) thrill seekers with plenty of spare cash can hire Yamaha jet skis for 15€ for 15 minutes, 60€ for 30 minutes and €100 for an hour. Or you could choose to get towed on a giant banana for €15 or hire a pedalo for only 8€ per hour.
