Los Lirios 72 / 73 are two interconnected ground floor apartments with wonderful views over Las Ramblas golf course. They are connected via the private rear patios - moving from one to the other takes about 30 seconds. Each apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, making them ideal for a large party of golfers or two families holidaying together. We also supply extra foldaway beds. There is a pool and Jacuzzi right outside No 72, with grassy sunbathing areas. No 73 doesn't have a pool - just a nice quiet sunbathing area. Perhaps best of all are the large verandahs, which have their own patio furniture and overhead adjustable sun blinds. Dining out here while looking at the view over the golf course is a real pleasure. The verandahs face south, so from them you can watch the dawn sun coming up out of the sea and going down in its usual blaze of glory in the evening. The apartments are owned and managed by Peter and Anna Redman, who live five minutes drive away in Villamartin. They will meet you on your arrival day (or not too early the next morning if you are arriving late) and will be on hand to offer assistance should you need it. |

There are three golf courses in this area, Las Ramblas, Villamartin and Campoamor. The apartments are in the heart of the Las Ramblas complex and you can see the first tee from the verandah. This, the practice fairway and the golf clubhouse are all five minutes walk. The clubhouse has a good snack menu, which you can enjoy sitting out on the large terrace overlooking the 18th green. Campoamor and Villamartin courses are 5 minutes drive away, as is a small supermarket catering especially for overseas visitors. Villamartin Plaza is about 10 minutes drive. Here there are more shops, a pharmacy, banks and a choice of seventeen restaurants situated around the inner open air courtyard. Drive 10 minutes in the other direction and you come to the sandy blue flag beaches of Cabo Roig, Campoamor and La Zenia. Torrevieja is the nearest large town, about 20 minutes drive. Here there are many more shops and cafes, a large fishing port, a yacht club, an Aquapark and a brand new sea front promenade, as well as open-air markets.
