The nearest beaches are less than a 10 minute drive from the house. Sports lovers can enjoy the many water sports available while golfers have a large selection of courses within a ten mile radius including the nearby championship Villamartin course. There is a large, modern sports palace in the town. Torrevieja itself is a bustling coastal town with a long promenade and marinas. Many Spaniards own holiday homes in the area. There is a fun fair and nightly flea market at the sea front and many restaurants and bars with sea views. Shopping is superb in the town censer and there is a market every day either in Torrevieja itself or nearby. There are several picturesque towns nearby including Elche, Murcia, Orihuela and a visit to the cities of Alicante or Valencia is always worthwhile. Due to both the sunshine and the two huge salt lakes which result in low humidity levels, the region is rated one of the healthiest places in the world by the World Health Organisation. People swear by the healing properties of the mud found in the lakes for easing the symptoms of arthritic conditions and skin conditions such as excema.

 A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking The balance is payable 2 months before the departure date.
